There are many questions surrounding Kate Middleton right now, particularly regarding the “abdominal procedure” that will keep her out of action until after Easter. However, new information has emerged that royal fans will find interesting.
Reports indicate that the Princess of Wales’s first public event since her surgery is scheduled for June 8.
On that date, Kate will oversee Trooping the Colour, one week before the main event.
According to the Household Division's page, “Trooping the Colour reviewed by Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales is identical to Trooping the Colour reviewed by His Majesty The King, with the exception that some additional mounted officers ride when His Majesty The King is present.
“Over 1400 soldiers of the Household Division and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including 400 musicians from the Massed Bands, will parade on Horse Guards for the second of two formal Reviews.”
The lack of information since the future Queen’s surgery has raised concerns. Providing a set date for Kate’s return to royal duties could help alleviate these worries.
Recently, there has been speculation that Kate’s health is worse than what the Palace has disclosed. A statement from the Palace reassured the public that Kate was “doing well,” repeating earlier claims that her recovery was proceeding as planned.
Despite these reassurances, the public's lack of knowledge has allowed rumors to spread rapidly.
The absence of recent images of the Princess of Wales since Christmas didn’t help matters. However, she was recently seen in a car with her mother, Carole Middleton, outside Windsor Castle, marking her first public appearance in 70 days.
Let’s wish Kate Middleton a speedy recovery. She’s improving, and a date has been set for her return to royal duties. This is great news.
