An expert claims that Prince William’s response to Prince Harry after Kate's message was neither warm nor informal.

Once united, Prince William and Prince Harry now exemplify a strained brotherly relationship. Their bond has deteriorated since Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and began disclosing information about the royal family, including accusations of racism.

The extent of the damage to their relationship is uncertain, but it seems unlikely that they will reconcile anytime soon, as lingering anger continues to prevent healing.

Currently, the royal family is facing difficult times, with two active royals, King Charles and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, battling cancer.

After much speculation about her health, Kate decided to address the rumors by revealing her cancer diagnosis. "In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous," she said in a video released on Friday.

Kate further explained that post-surgery tests revealed the presence of cancer. "My medical team advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment," she said. "This has been a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

BUT KATE IS NOT ALONE. SHE HAS THE SUPPORT OF HER PEOPLE, HER FAMILY, AND HER FRIENDS, WHO ALL SENT MESSAGES WITH WELL-WISHES.

Among those who reached out to both Charles and Kate were the Sussexes. Following the announcement of Kate’s diagnosis, Harry and Meghan issued a formal statement and also reportedly "reached out privately." Royal expert and author Tom Quinn stated, “Harry and Meghan have been in contact with William, but their private message was simply one of sympathy and didn’t include any suggestion that the brothers should reconcile or that Harry should return to the UK soon.”

Quinn added that William’s response to his brother’s message was not in the “warm, informal” manner expected of two siblings who have endured so much together.

“There is just too much ill-feeling for that. William, still hurt by everything Harry has said in the past, has responded, but his reply was very much orchestrated by the palace and lacked the warmth and informality you would expect between brothers. It was more like the cautious communication between two wary diplomats.”

The exact content of Harry’s message to William and Kate will likely never be made public. There are varying reports on how Harry and Meghan learned of Kate’s cancer diagnosis. Some sources believe they were informed before Kate's public announcement, while others think they found out at the same time as the general public.

In these challenging times for the British royal family, we hope the brothers can reconcile and set aside their differences.
